THE EVENT

Tuesday 30th August 2017 @ Webcredible (113 Park Street, SE1 9ED)

We are back at our beloved partner Webcredible’s awesome offices in London Bridge, to talk about something really interesting!

When you think ‘Futuretech’, AI has to be top of the list! More than half of all web traffic is automated through bots and with more and more developers, designers and innovators born every day, it is important that we share the learnings from our experiences with each other to build, design and innovate better.

On the 30th, (the week after our ‘Innovating Healthcare conference, check it out – http://bit.ly/2fLgAFh) we will be looking at bots, AI and messaging, to understand the potential of machine learning.

The event will be a mix of talk and discussion, with Webcredible’s Experience Director Alex Baxevanis and Senior UX Consultant, joined by Transport for London’s Experience Design Lead, Alex Tatner. We will be talking about Alex’s recent experiences designing the TfL travelbot, recently launched for Facebook Messenger, as well as a look at the challenges, opportunities and innovations in this space for the future.

This will be a great discussion, so if this is a bit of you… don’t miss out!

With space for 40, we would like to invite you straight from work for 6.30pm, to unwind with other UX and creative professionals at Webcredible’s lovely space near London Bridge. Pizza will be available from 6.30, so do get there on time if you’re hungry, as well as craft beer, wine and soft drinks too. We will be networking until 6.50pm and talks will begin at 7.00pm sharp. You are in for some excellent insights, so please book now to avoid disappointment.

Hiring managers are welcome, and if you are interested in hosting or sponsoring an event with us (and would like to get a taste of what we do), please get in touch with Myles McMorrow and we can hold you a ticket!

Tweet the event @TheUXCrunch and let’s get the ball rolling! We look forward to seeing you soon!!!

SPEAKERS

Alex Baxevanis – Experience Director @ Webcredible

As Experience Director, Alex acts as an ambassador for clients and for the project teams. An advocate for the value of good design, he speaks out for design that values user needs as much as how things look, and understands what is technically reasonable for that business. He wants everyone to find the sweet spot in the middle of this UX design triangle.

Tom Stewart – Senior Experience Consultant @ Webcredible

Tom loves thinking about people – what makes them tick – and has a passion for using research & simple design to solve real-world problems. He leads projects for Webcredible’s clients, helping develop products and services that drive tangible business change.

Alex Tatner – Experience design lead @TfL.

The project he launched most recently was the TfL TravelBot on Facebook messenger. Designed to help people travelling around London get the information they need as quickly as possible, the TravelBot has the ability to provide updates on bus arrivals as well as Tube and bus status updates, and it’s learning more all the time!
